In addition, Glock's use of high-tech polymers greatly reduces the feeling of waste. I bought a G20 a year ago from the Glock store and it is a great side weapon to use on my ranch in NW Colorado. I have full confidence in my ability to handle any situation that may arise in this rural area. The bounce and muzzle jump with the Winchester Silver tip are very manageable. For a big game hunter, it's a top-notch secondary weapon.

I've heard it's the best weapon for bear encounters with numbers increasing since last year's trout fishing.
Stripping the scene is a bit difficult with small release slides - magazines are difficult to load by hand.
I have since installed a retrofitted release 'bar' which makes it much easier to clean after a day of shooting.
I also bought a plastic end cap for the space in the handle next to where the cartridge is fired. I've heard that dirt can get into the fire mechanism through there - but I'm not sure yet.

With a full magazine, be sure to push it hard into the pistol body - it's a shame if the magazine falls out. Hopefully - the magnetic spring will weaken a bit.
There are 20SF. My third bell and 8 of my favorite pistols. 15 10mm rounds is a lot of firepower.
I bought a G20 GEN 4 about a month ago. I bought it at a low price. Even if I paid more, I would still be a HAPPY GLOCK!
I went to the shooting range last week and fired 3 different types of ammo. Blazer, Sig/Sauer and Armscore. All 3 done with no problems. But I want to say that I like ARMSCOR best.

I have an old G19 from the early 1990s, it's still a great gun. I always carry it with me, or my RUGER 1911 45ACP when I first bought it.
I have 4 smaller lead guns, but I like more power! Chef, I.E. V prefers smaller guns anyway. I never wanted to make her so mad that she shot me; She's a much better shot than me! Her father raised her in NRA competitions in the late 50s and early 60s, and she won a lot of titles, always beating the guy! What has to hurt!
I was torn between 10mm vs. 45 ACP. However, after reviewing many ballistics and performance studies, there is no doubt... the G20 wins in all respects: muzzle and speed and power of the target, trajectory flight, etc. Personal protection, but if the black bear shows up in my backyard again, it might be in lidded shampoo!

I've been willing to get one of these for a while. Never thought much of Glocks due to plastic and lack of manual safety. However, one .45 ACP fell into my lap and it grew for me in terms of quality, function, simplicity and weight considerations. So this will be my first 10mm, based on my previous experience with the bell... 15 rounds of 10mm should be fine for anything I'll encounter in the Southern Rockies I call "home".
I'm on my second 10mm bell and I love it. It did bounce back but nothing "uncontrollable". I'm not a big guy but instantly and with a little twist to my taste (no extras, just inventory) and hit my achievements every time. AMAZING WEAPONS!!!

It was my first gun, and like your first love, it will always be your favorite. In Houston, the weather is shorts and t-shirts for nine months of the year, and most of the time I usually wear its smaller brother, the Bell 29. But when it's cooler and I'm wearing a jacket, I'm still carrying The G20. With 16 empty rounds, I think I can handle anything that comes up. If Sasquatch has bad judgment to show off, G20 will make him regret it. Love this gun.

I am looking for a pistol that is more powerful than my 9mm and .45 acp. Many recommended for the 10mm so I used one of my Blue Label certifications and bought the Gen 4 G20.
This gun is a complete package. It is strong but manageable. Has great power and I would confidently use it to defend any large house or game (ie bears). This is my 5th Glock and I love them all.
It will be interesting to see what the Gen 5 G20 will add if Glock ever produces one (that would be some new models, obviously).
