Bah Fort Stewart
Your first stop should be the housing service office. This office provides relocation services and information regarding new duty stations (worldwide) to soldiers and their families as they deploy to new environments.
Fort Stewart Family Homes
The Office of Housing Services helps soldiers and their families find off-duty housing or directs them to on-duty options. For families and those with a higher degree, you can contact Fort Stewart Family Housing at 1 (912) 408-2480 to check the availability of privatized housing for your degree and family size.
All single soldiers must first report to the Marne Receiving Center for processing at Fort Stewart. Soldiers are assigned temporary barracks during processing requirements. Barracks are allocated when a soldier is assigned to a unit.
Single soldiers in the ranks of private (E-1) through sergeant (E-5) are eligible to remain in barracks. Some married soldiers can stay in the barracks under certain conditions. To determine eligibility, contact the Marne Admissions Center at 1 (912) 767-0115.
Unaccompanied soldiers in the ranks of staff sergeant through captain are eligible to live in Cape Marne community housing managed by Balfour Beatty Communities, which also manages all the privatized family housing for Stewart. Fort Stewart Family Homes is a residential community located north of Hinesville, Fort Stewart. The community has single family, duplexes, townhouses and condos, from two to five bedrooms. The community has 10 pet-friendly neighborhoods (even big dogs!) with amenities like basketball courts, community centers with exercise rooms, dog parks, playgrounds, lots and splash parks.
Residents at Fort Stewart Family Homes can enjoy the convenience of on-site management and maintenance, curbside trash and recycling collection, grounds maintenance services, and a full calendar of resident activities and events.
School-age children living in Fort Stewart family homes can register and attend one of three elementary schools on the post. Note: Fort Stewart Family Homes are open to military personnel of a certain rank stationed at Fort Stewart. Select neighborhoods are open to other qualified applicants, including military retirees, DOD civilian employees, and general applicants in select neighborhoods.
The Coastal Ridge neighborhood offers a variety of four bedroom homes and is within walking distance of Diamond Elementary School, as well as many playgrounds, walking/biking trails and Taylors Creek Golf Course. Homes here have two-car garages, fenced yards, fireplaces and full kitchens.
The Eisenhower Terrace neighborhood offers two-bedroom homes with central heat and air conditioning, garages and porches. Residents of this neighborhood are within walking distance of Murray and Diamond elementary schools and enjoy a variety of amenities including playgrounds and lots, walking/biking trails, basketball courts and athletic fields. All utilities are included.
The Liberty Woods neighborhood is conveniently located near Kessler Elementary School, the Fort Stewart Youth Center and the community management office. Liberty Woods offers three and four bedroom townhomes with central heat and air conditioning, fully equipped kitchens, garages, fenced yards and patios. Residents have easy access to a number of community amenities, including playgrounds, basketball courts, a splash park, and walking/biking trails.

Marne Homes offers two, three and four bedroom floor plans in both duplex and single family homes. This neighborhood is centrally located to community amenities including the PX, commissary, Stewart Club, Newman Fitness Center, Taylors Creek Golf Course and playgrounds. It is also within walking distance of Diamond Elementary School.
Located within walking distance of Diamond Elementary School, the Marne View neighborhood features three and four bedroom duplex homes with two-car garages, ample closets and storage, fully equipped kitchens, fenced yards, porches and patios. Basic Allowance For Housing (bah) Rates
North Bryan Village offers two, four and five bedroom townhomes and duplexes with patios, fully equipped kitchens, ample closets and storage, central heat and air. Located near the Fort Stewart Youth Center and Shoppe, this neighborhood includes playgrounds and a dog park. All utilities are included.
The walkable South Bryan Village neighborhood features two, three and four bedroom apartments and duplexes with central heat and air conditioning, walk-in closets, patios and fully equipped kitchens. South Bryan Village is within walking distance of the Shoppette and features various playgrounds, walking/biking trails and a basketball court.
The South Oaks neighborhood offers three and four bedroom homes with central heat and air, fully equipped kitchens, garages, fenced yards and patios. Residents of this area enjoy several amenities just steps from their door including playgrounds, splash park, basketball court, community center, fitness center and walking/biking trails. Murray Elementary School and AAFES Shoppette Express are also within walking distance.
Although moving to a new location can be stressful, Fort Stewart has many on-post housing options. Depending on your rank and your family's needs, there is sure to be a home that will be perfect for you. Post office accommodation is limited, so search as soon as possible.
