Naval Station Norfolk is located in the southeastern corner of the Commonwealth of Virginia. The base is located in the Sewells Point area of Norfolk. The area is collectively known as "Hampton Roads," which includes the cities of Williamsburg, Newport News, Hampton, Norfolk, Portsmouth, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, and Suffolk.
The nearest airport is Norfolk International Airport, less than 8 miles from the marina. Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport is approximately 27 miles from the seaport.

If you arrive at Naval Station Norfolk between 0900 and 1400, Monday through Friday, report to the Administration Office on the first floor of Building N-26 to obtain a registration form. If arriving after hours or on holidays, please contact Building Quarters N-26 to make a reservation, then report to the administrative office the next business day. At the time of registration, you must have a sponsor to guide you through the registration process. If you are not assigned a sponsor or are contacted by an assigned sponsor, please call 1 (757) 445-6564 between 0730 and 1600.
