Glock 20 Gen5 - I bought a G20 from the Glock store a year ago and it has been a great sidearm for use on my ranch in NW Colorado. I have full confidence in my ability to handle any situation that may arise in this rural area. Recoil and muzzle jump are very manageable with the Winchester silver tips. This is a top shelf sidearm for the big game hunter.
I've heard it's the perfect weapon for the bear encounters I've had in increasing numbers while trout fishing over the past year.

Field stitching is very difficult with small trigger glasses - loading magazines by hand is difficult.

I installed a retrofit release "bar" which makes it very easy to clean after a day's shooting.
I also bought a plastic end piece for the cavity on the handle next to where the mag goes. I hear dirt can get into the firing mechanism from there - but IDK not sure yet.
With a full mag, be sure to push it hard into the body of the gun – it's a shame to have the mag fall out. Hopefully - maybe the spring will be a bit weaker.
Has 20SF. My third Glock and 8 of my favorite handguns. 15 rounds of 10mm is a lot of firepower.

I bought the G20 GEN 4 about a month ago. I bought it at a cheap price. Even if I paid more, I'd still be a happy GLOCK guy!
I was at the range last week and shot 3 different ammo. BLAZER, SIG/SAUER and Armscor. All 3 managed without problems. But I have to say I like ARMSCOR the best.
I fired all the FMJs in single and semi-auto fire. The gun worked flawlessly! Of course it's a GLOCK!
I have an old G19 from the early 1990s, it's still a great gun. I always carried that with me, or my RUGER 1911 45ACP when I first bought it.

I have a small carry gun 4 but I like more power! BOSS, I.E. Anyway, KONE likes small guns. I didn't want to piss him off enough to shoot me; He's a much better shot than me! Her father trained her for NRA tournaments in the late 50's and early 60's and she always beat the boys and won multiple trophies! That had to hurt!
I was torn between 10mm vs .45 ACP. But after going through several ballistics and performance studies, there's no question... the G20 wins in all departments: muzzle and target speed and power, flight path, etc. Even though the ammo is a bit pricey, I'm still glad I got it in the main case. Personal safety, but if the black bear shows up in my yard again, he might get lead shampoo!
I've been toying with getting one like this for a while now. Glocks are not thought of much due to the lack of plastic and manual safety. But one in .45 acp fell into my lap and it grew on me a lot - quality, ergo, simplicity and weight considerations. So this will be my first 10mm, based on my past experience with the Glock... 15 rounds of 10mm should be good for anything I will encounter in the southern Rockies that I call "home".
I'm on my 2nd Glock 10mm and I love it. It packs recoil, but nothing "uncontrollable". I'm not a big guy, but right out of the box and customizing a little view to my liking (no addition equipped, stock only) and hitting my mark every time. Awesome weapon!!!

Glock 20 4 gen My first gun, tall and strong for my home defense specialty
It was my first gun, and like your first love, it will always be your favorite. In Houston, it's shorts and t-shirt weather nine months of the year, and most of the time I carry its little brother, the Glock 29. But when it's cooler and I'm wearing a jacket, I still pack the G20. With 16 rounds of hollow point I think I can handle anything that can be presented to me. If Sasquatch has bad judgment to show for it, the G20 will more than make him regret it. Love this gun.
My glock 20 is my weapon to defend my home, no harm intended, but it is a weapon to protect me from wildlife and other intruders.
I am looking for a more powerful gun than my 9 MM and .45 ACP. Lots of recommendations for the 10MM so I used one of my blue label certificates and bought a Gen 4 G20.
Glock 19/19x/45 Gen5 Owb W/qls Fork
This gun is the complete package. It is powerful yet manageable. Has great power and I would use it for any home or big game security (ie bear) with confidence. This is my 5th Glock and I love every single one of them.
It will be interesting to see what the Gen 5 G20 adds to the mix if Glock ever produces one (it will be a new model number, of course). It's now official – the GLOCK Gen5 has been announced via a press release. , a new web page and a video ad. Yes, we went over all the details on the new pistols last week, but now that they're available for sale, buyers have an official source to reference all the weights and measurements.
